How to create an icon from a BMP, PNG, GIF or JPG

1.    Start IcoFX

2.    In the File menu select the Import image menu point

3.    Select the image you would like to import

4.    In the case of GIF files you must select the frame(s) to import using the "Frames" dialog.

5.    A new icon image will be created from this image

6.    On the New Image dialog select the size, and data type of the image

7.    Choose Icon/Create Icon From Image from the main menu

8.    Select the image formats to include in the icon

9.    Press Ok

10.    Save the icon (Ctrl + S)
